Students who have studied the proper amount of time and are age 9 as of 9/1 the Fall of the Current Year will work on the following Keyboard Theory:
2 octave scales, hands separately (or together) - learn hands separately first
in the keys of: C, G, F, D, A, E Major and c, g, f, d, a, e harmonic minor
Chords (root position triads and chord inversions), hands separately - spelled aloud
in the keys of: C, G, F, D, A, E Major and c, g, f, d, a, e harmonic minor
Cadences (I-IV-I-V-I) hands separately with pedal
in the keys of: C, G, F, D, A, E Major and c, g, f, d, a, e harmonic minor
Arpeggios (4 octaves, alternating hands)
in the keys of: C, G, F, D, A, E Major and c, g, f, d, a, e harmonic minor
Intervals (spelled aloud by letter name and quantity -- quality of Perfect, Major etc. is optional)

D Major - Printout the following handout and place in a ring binder notebook. Watch the video. Practice at a slow tempo with metronome until mastered. Observe technic and proper form. Work for steady, even tone. Do your fingers, hands, and arms look like those in the video?
